2 DOGS 2 UNIQUE PERSONALITIES. CITY ISLAND: When it comes to
Casual water front dining nothing can compare with a visit to this location.
Perched on the Seawall on the South side of New Pass regulars and tourists alike
can enjoy the magnificent view across the water to Long Boat key.
The restaurant is located in Ken Thompson Park has space for boat docking and
adjoins the Gulf Wind Marine. Boaters may gas up and enjoy lunch
before continuing on their way or visiting our neighbors at the Mote Aquarium.
SIESTA KEY: Nestled in Siesta Key Village this location is a revered part of
village life. The Dog as it is fondly called by locals has been part of
the village social life since November 1985. Often said to be the bar that
Cheers was modeled from. In September 2002 the Old Dog was totally
renovated to increase the comfort of it's patrons. Along with the renovations came a full Liquor license so that
our patrons can enjoy all the tropical libations that you could wish for in this
Island Paradise. CLICK FOR BOTH LOCATIONS: MAPS LINKS & PHOTOS
